Laboratories and demo facility to accelerate biobased innovations

The campus facilitates innovative entrepreneurs to develop new, sustainable materials and chemicals for the building materials and packaging industry from renewable feed stocks (biomass), with a focus on sugars and fibres.
A brand-new demo facility for pilot plants enables companies to scale up their biobased production.

It has a small process laboratory available where experiments can be carried out within fume hoods and in modern laboratory setups. In addition, there is cooperation with a range of specialized laboratories for upscaling biobased innovations.
