GMP-compliant cleanroom facility for pilot production of biomaterials and biodegradable implants

High Tech Campus, Eindhoven

The pilot production facility is part of SBMC’s shared facilities and offers 4 GMP cleanrooms (Grade C / ISO 6/7) with a total clean area of about 400 m². It’s available for companies and start-ups for the development of the production technologies and processes and for the pilot production of their biomaterials and biodegradable implants. Each cleanroom, and therefore each customer, has it’s own storageroom. A QC laboratory is shared among the customers. SBMC (Smart BioMaterials Consortium) staff members can provide technical assistance on working in GMP compliant cleanrooms.

The pilot production facility is located at the High Tech Campus Eindhoven, which offers a vibrant ecosystem in high tech, medtech and life sciences.
